    Flight Delay/Cancellation

    The mere reason for the delays and the cancellation of the flight is mainly due to the climatic variability and hard terrain. The major timings for the chances of flight delay and cancellation occurrences are in winter and rainy season. Another major reason is the technical difficulty because of the lack of instrumental landing system in Tribhuvan International Airport; the domestic flights are often delayed or cancelled. January to the end of February is the bad time for the domestic flights in Nepal.

    Trekking Season

    Nepal is open throughout the year however the best months for the visit of Nepal either for the trekking in Nepal or tour in Nepal the six months period is considered as the best. The months of the March, April and May in summer and month of the September, October and November is considered as the trekking season of Nepal.   • Some Important information to Tourist : Don't or Do's

    A tourist may stay in Nepal up to 150 days in a visa year (Jan-Dec).

    A tourist must extend his/her visa before expiry of the visa validity period. A tourist who does not comply with these regulations may be liable to fine and other prosecution as provided in Immigration Act and Rules.

    A Foreigner having obtained tourist visa shall not be allowed to work with or without receiving remuneration.

    A foreigner shall not be allowed to carry out any work other than that for which purposes/he has obtained the visa.

    Non- tourist visa
