Rajan Adhikari

Rajan Jung Adhikari was born on 27th September, 1981 in Tanahun District which  is famous for the Queen of Hills, Bandipur and the Siddha Cave, the second largest in South Asia. He spent his childhood in the vicinity of one of the ancient states of pre-unified Nepal, Tanahunsur Fort. As a child, he often visited the dense forests above his village and played in the plain on the bank of the Kalesti River. He completed his school education from a government school of his own village and Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) from Damauli Bazar.

Adhikari came to the Capital City, Kathmandu in 2001 to pursue his higher education. He has achieved B. Ed.  M. A. in English Language and Literature from Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus affiliated to Tribhuvan University. Since 2006, he has worked as an English Facilitator over fifteen years. He has facilitated thousands of pupils to learn English literature and language at different levels throughout his teaching career.

Believing in “Travelling is the best way to explore the world,” he has travelled many of the districts of Nepal from the east to the west. He loves reading and writing literary texts and travelogues. To utilize his leisure in a rather productive field, he started content/blog writing from 2014. Now, he has been associated with a few tour operators located in Thamel, Kathmandu. He loves sharing his knowledge to facilitate national and international travelers with fundamental information about various city tours and trekking regions of the Himalayas.
