Aside from being the gateway to the world famous Annapurna treks, Pokhara is perhaps most popular for Skydiving.
Located about 200km from Kathmandu, Pokhara is easily accessible and offers possibly the best skyline for Skydiving. The ninth highest mountain in the world Mt. Annapurna (8091m) and the sacred Mt. Fishtail (6993m) provide a heavenly backdrop for Skydivers. Pokhara Skydiving uses a AS 350 B2 or B3 Helicopter and the freefall is conducted from a height of 10000-12000ft.
