It is said that once even Gautam Buddha himself came to visit this holy land that the people followe him chanting ‘Namo Buddha’ meaning ‘I revere Buddha’. The Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery built in 1978 and a Buddhist school are the significant landmarks of this shrine.

Most importantly, you can have the amazing sight of the Panauti Valley, Dhulikhel Bazaar and Banepa Town from the top.
