The Dhampus Sarankot Trek is a short and scenic trek near Pokhara which is perfect for beginners. The journey begins from Pokhara to Phedi or Dhampus Village, where you walk through terraced fields, traditional Gurung villages, and lush forests. Along the way, you'll get the glimpse Machapuchare (Fishtail), Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri which is perfect for photographs. You can enjoy warm hospitality from local people with homestay options. You can try authentic Nepali cuisine while immersing in the region’s culture.

From Dhampus, the trek continues to Sarankot, a viewpoint famous for breathtaking sunrise and sunset panoramas over Pokhara and Phewa Lake. The trek is moderate with manageable trekking distance which is perfect for all age group. After then, you descend  ack to Pokhara after completing 2 days trek with the memories of beautiful landscape and the tranquility of the Annapurna region.

The trek starts from Phedi, a small village about 30 minutes hours drive from Pokhara city. From Phedi, the trail gently climbs through lush forests, terraced farmlands, and small local villages entering the Annapurna Region. Along the way, you can stop at small tea shops, enjoy the local scenery, and observe village life. The day ends at Dhampus Village, a beautiful hillside settlement with spectacular views of the Annapurna range, Machapuchare (Fishtail), and Dhaulagiri. You'll stay that night in local homestays, where you can enjoy authentic Nepali meals and warm hospitality.

Next day, you'll continue your trek from Dhampus to Sarangkot, a famous viewpoint for breathtaking sunrise and sunset panoramas over Pokhara, Phewa Lake, and surrounding mountains. The trail passes through more terraced fields, small villages, and scenic spots along the way. After enjoying the views at Sarangkot, you can descend back to Pokhara by trail or take a short drive. This day completes the trek which will leave you with memories of serene landscapes, mountain vistas, and a culture and tradition of village life.
