After arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by your tour operator or guide and transferred to your hotel. The drive from the airport to your hotel will give you a glimpse of the city’s streets and the local way of life.

Take a taxi or local bus to the main bus station in Kathmandu. Purchase your bus ticket to Dhunche from the counter. Board the public bus and enjoy the scenic journey through the Himalayas, passing through small towns and villages along the way. The bus makes several stops for passengers to stretch their legs, use the restroom, and grab some food or drinks. Admire the stunning views of the Himalayan range as the bus climbs higher into the mountains.

The bus ride ends in Dhunche, where you can check into your hotel or guesthouse and acclimatize to the altitude.
