This would probably increase the summit success ratio. More than the expedition the journey to its base camp can be mesmerizing and enchanting to the climbers. The most diversified natural resources and cultural diversity can be experienced in the trail up to the base camp. The mountain in itself is regarded as the holy mountain. According to the Sanskrit language the name Annapurna means the “abundance of food” and the name of goddess of harvest. People of Nepal still worship the mountain as an emblem of the goddess Annapurna before planting on fields or during harvesting period. Therefore, the journey could be mystically mythical as well.
