3 Days Muktinath Tour is one of the pilgrimage tours in Nepal. It takes you to the Muktikshetra located in the historical Mustang region. “Muktinath” is made up of two words “Mukti” (meaning ‘liberation’) and “nath” (meaning ‘Lord’). Combining together, it means the Lord for Liberation.

Muktinath Temple is located below Thorung La Pass (5,416m), which is the highest mountain pass in Annapurna region. This pass is between Khatung Kang (6,484m) and Yaskawa Kang (6,482m) in the Annapurna Circuit trail.

Itinerary

After that, you will head towards Muktinath Temple in a private jeep by sharing with others. Or, if you have a group, you can hire one and reach the temple in 1 hour. Muktinath is a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists. Every year, thousands of Indian and Nepalese pilgrims make Muktinath Darshan tour.

Definitely, yes! It takes 7 hours drive to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu. Then, from Pokhara to Jomsom, it takes another 7 hours and finally 1 hour drive from Jomsom to Muktinath. As it takes more approximately 15 hours for overland tour to Muktinath Temple, it is not recommended. Combination of flight and drive makes this pilgrimage tour more memorable.

Yes, you can do Muktinath Helicopter tour with landing either from Pokhara or Kathmandu. It takes not more than 3 hours to fly to Muktinath from Kathamndu and return. From Pokhara, it takes even shorter time. You land and worship the deities and return in a relaxed way. Maximum 5 pax can fly at a shuttle once to Muktinath.
