Then after getting the boarding pass you will enter the main hall and wait for some time. After you hear the announcement of our flight you will proceed to the helipad area. After the airport tower gives a signal for flying then you will enter the helicopter with excitement. Your captain will give you a short safety briefing.

7:30 AM: Fly to Lukla airport

Everest Base camp helicopter flight begins around 7:30 am then we will start flying toward the east in the Mahalangur Himalayan range. If the weather is clear and the visibility is good we can see the majestic views of Mt. Manaslu on the far west, with Mt, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and Dorje Lakpa. During the flight, you will not only be treated to the view of Everest but also you will witness a wide panoramic view of the mountain ranges.

From the top, you can see the bird's view of the lush green forest, rhododendron forest, pines, and fir trees facing clusters of village homes and fields which will draw your attention. After about 15 minutes of flying east, the helicopter offers grand views of Mt. Gaurishankar and Melung-Tse peaks, which mark the border between Nepal and Tibet. Mt. Gaurishankar is special because it is considered a holy mountain and it's where Nepal Standard Time and Greenwich Time Meridian meet.

As the helicopter passes over the Lamjura-La high ridge at 3,500 meters (11,000 feet), you can catch a quick glimpse of Mt. Everest and Lhotse, giving you the chance to take some incredible pictures. Then, the helicopter slowly heads north to land at Lukla town's Tenzing and Hillary Airport, which sits at 2,800 meters high.

Due to its unique mountainous airstrip known for its landing and take-off challenges, this airport is famous worldwide as a world-dangerous airport. But you don’t have to worry, the helicopter will make a safe and smooth landing, adding to the charm of the flight.

7:40 AM- 11 AM: Refuelling and flying over Everest Base Camp, Kala Patthar and Land in Everest View Hotel

After spending a few minutes in the Lukla airport we will tighten your belt for a close view of the highest peak in the world, Everest. Further flying in the distance we will start to see the giant peak of Mt. Pumori. Then we will go over the Khumbu glacier and reach Gorakshep, which is the last village before the base camp.

Continue to fly over the Everest Base Camp, where you can see the trekking and expeditions group. There is no landing pad in the base camp because of the continuous movement of the glacier. But we will still fly over it so you can get a good view. Instead, we will land at the Kala Patthar near Gorak Shep at above 5,180 m high.

It will be our first landing In front of the world's highest peak Mt Everest. Kala Patthar is the vantage point for the sunrise and sunset view of Everest. In the early morning when the rays of the sunlight striking the Peak of the Everest turn golden, this pure magical conversion of the peak is hard to describe in words.
