5:30 to 6:30 AM: Transfer to Kathmandu International Airport 

We will give you a wake-up call in the early morning so that you can prepare yourself for today’s adventurous flight to Everest Base Camp tour. Then we will pick you up from the doorstep of your hotel and transfer you to the International airport in the early morning. The Airport is from the city area which can reach around 20-25 on average. 

Make sure to pack all the items required for this trek. Wear warm clothes, and comfortable shoes and don’t forget to bring personal items like sunglasses, mobile phones, and cameras and if you want you can even pack breakfast and take it with you if you want.

6:30 to 7:30 AM: Check-in

At the time of 6:30 am, you will be entering the gate of the international airport and processed for a security checkup from airport security. After the completion of the security checkup, you will submit a copy of your passport and weigh your body which are crucial steps for flight safety. 

Then after getting the boarding pass you will enter the main hall and wait for some time. After you hear the announcement of our flight you will proceed to the helipad area. 7:30 AM: Fly to Lukla airport

7:40 AM- 11 AM: Refuelling and flying over Everest Base Camp, Kala Patthar and Land in Everest View Hotel

After spending a few minutes in the Lukla airport we will tighten your belt for a close view of the highest peak in the world, Everest. While flying over Thukla, you see Cho-La pass on the left side, and on the right side you’ll spot Lobuche Peak and a small village called Lobuche with some places to stay nearby.

Further flying in the distance we will start to see the tall peak of Mt. Pumori. Then we will go over the Khumbu glacier and reach Gorakshep, which is the last village before the base camp. 

From there we will fly over the Everest Base Camp, where you can see the trekking and expeditions group. There is no landing pad in the base camp because of the continuous movement of the glacier. But we will still fly over it so you can get a good view. Instead, we will land in the Kala Patthar near Gorak Shep at above 5,180 m high. 

It will be our first landing in the mountain region. Kala Patthar is the vantage point for the sunrise and sunset view of Everest. In the early morning when the rays of the sunlight striking the Peak of the Everest turn golden, this pure magical conversion of the peak is hard to describe in words.
